Commercial Farming :
Commercial farming is the farming method in which plant and livestock production is practiced with the intention of selling the products in the market National and international as well . The main characteristic of this type of farming is the use of higher doses of modern inputs, e.g. High Yielding Variety (HYV) seeds, Chemical Fertilizers, Insecticides and Pesticides in order to obtain higher productivity.
India is the world's largest producer of milk, pulses and Jute. India ranks as the second-largest producer of rice, wheat, sugarcane, groundnut, vegetables, fruit and cotton. It is also one of the leading producers of spices, fish, poultry, livestock and plantation crops.
